NASCAR Collaboration (2021-22)

To raise money for Poppy Packs, we have successfully partnered with NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team, Norm Benning Racing. Patrons were able to place their names (or honor a veteran) on Benning’s truck for races during the 2021 season with a monetary contribution. Co- Founder Jack Bradley has had a vested interest in NASCAR since he was young and always hoped to be able to merge his love for the sport with business. Norm Benning Racing is located just outside of Pittsburgh, PA. Norm is a fan favorite among NASCAR circles, with his most historic race being his David vs. Goliath moment at Eldora Speedway in 2013. With a small budget and few sponsors, it has been hard for 69-year-old Benning to continue to run in the sport. The Poppy Packs collaboration has not only helped our organization raise funds for more packs but also helped Benning’s team continue to race. During select races this season, Norm’s
trucks will be covered in Poppy Packs stickers each denoting the name of one of our sponsors
or a beloved veteran. At our inaugural event at Pocono Raceway (6/26/21), Katy honored her late father Stephen Beshears, and Jack honored his
namesake great grandfather John ‘Jack’ Judge who fought in Great Britain during the Second
World War.
